Product Introduction
Benzonase nuclease are nucleases from Serratia marcescens that have been genetically modified. They can degrade double-stranded, single-stranded, linear, and circular DNA and RNA, completely breaking down nucleic acids into 3-5 base-long 5′-monophosphate oligonucleotides. Because they can efficiently degrade any form of DNA and RNA, they are called “all-purpose nucleases.”
